VIRMA is a home climate control system that aims to provide a comfortable and healthy living environment by monitoring and controlling temperature, humidity, and other climate factors in each room of your house. It has advanced features that allow for personalized comfort and energy efficiency.
Unlike most zoning systems on the market, VIRMA can control airflow and temperature in each room/zone individually. Moreover, VIRMA could be integrated with most third-party services and extended with additional household needs solutions provided by Ceotech.
VIRMA can help you improve comfort and save energy by ensuring that your HVAC system runs efficiently. It can help improve the air quality in your home, which can be beneficial for people with allergies or respiratory issues, and allows for customization and remote control through a smartphone app or web application.
VIRMA will be included in multiple rebate programs by the end of 2024. We will notify each customer once the rebate options are available.
Shipping
Yes, we make cross-border shipments from ceotech.ca. Orders placed in Canada ship from our Canadian warehouse to Canadian addresses and orders placed from the Unites States may be subject to Customs/Import Fees upon arrival.
No, if you are outside of and Canada and the U.S. and place an order, it will need to be sent to a Third-Party Access Point Shipper. Your order may be subject to Customs/Import Fees upon arrival in your destination country. Ceotech is not responsible for any Customs/Import Fees, nor any fees incurred by using a third-party shipper.
Installation
VIRMA All-In-One Hub module will replace the standard thermostat on the main floor. Each room/zone will be equipped with a VIRMA Measurement module and VIRMA motorized vents instead of regular ones. Additionally, we install VIRMA Power and Communication module into the utility room/area.
To get maximum comfort and efficiency, we recommend installing VIRMA in each room of the house. However, you can install VIRMA components in just a few rooms/zones and equip others later.
VIRMA is compatible with most standard HVAC systems on the market. We will examine your HVAC system during installation, and if we find any compatibility issues, we'll try to resolve them. In the worst case, you will receive a full refund.
VIRMA monitors several parameters, including your HVAC system's static and differential pressure. Additionally, we install a bypass system (automatic back pressure regulator) to protect your HVAC from overpressure. VIRMA will never create overpressure that could damage the HVAC blower or compressor.
You can check all supported vent sizes on the VIRMA motorized vents page. If you don’t see your vent size in the supported list, please mention that once our sales specialist contacts you to confirm the list of VIRMA components to install and ship. During the installation, we can adjust the size of the vents as required.
We have certified HVAC partners in Canada and the Unites States. Once the product has been shipped, we will contact the customer to set up a date and time for installation. The customer will then receive a confirmation email with details.
